MICHAEL TAYLOR

CHESTER COUNTY PROTHONATARY

"A properly functioning and responsive civil court system begins in the Prothonotary’s office. We must provide a high level of service in a timely manner for civil litigations in Chester County to move forward so business and residents can resolve their issues."

Mike, a practicing litigator for over 24 years, understands that a properly functioning court system begins in the Prothonotary’s office. In county government, the Prothonotary is the chief civil legal clerk of the Court. All civil filings first come to the Prothonotary before being shepherded to the next stage of the legal system.

In 2013, Mike established a legal practice meant to open legal services to individuals who ordinarily could not afford legal representation. He has had the privilege of representing people and business throughout the Commonwealth and know the importance of a well-organized, helpful court system in the search for justice.

Mike has lived in Uwchlan Township since 1999, where he volunteered time with youth sports through LYA and CYO and the Boy Scouts of America. Mike also had the high honor of serving as a Hearing Officer for the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, where he evaluated attorney conduct and made recommendations on attorney discipline.
