Fighting for Chester County’s Future
Duane Milne’s extensive career experiences have centered on improving the lives of individuals and communities as a military officer, PA legislator, business consultant, and college professor. Duane’s professional credentials include serving six terms in the PA State House and being an Army Reserve officer who deployed to the Middle East.
Duane believes governments must understand that “their” money belongs to the taxpayers and must practice the highest standards of fiscal responsibility. Respect for law and order must be demanded and instilled as a core value of our country. Strategic economic development must be pursued to attract and retain employers of choice for our residents. Smart land development principles coupled with open space and conservation initiatives must characterize the future growth path of Chester County. The opportunity for an excellent education must be the expectation and foundation for all students, regardless of background.
A lifelong Chester County resident, Duane and his wife Jean have raised their son Alex in the same Malvern-area neighborhood where Duane grew up. Alex attends Great Valley High School, like Duane before him. A dedicated community volunteer, Duane is active in church, scouting and youth sports. An avid runner, Duane participates in local 5Ks to support worthy causes and has finished 12 marathons. As Senator, Duane will be an energetic and enthusiastic advocate for Chester County’s future best interests!
